JIGME RINPOCHE – Course and Chenrezi Empowerment
It is with great joy that we are announcing this course with our precious and wonderful teacher Jigme Rinpoche, who is here giving a course in addition to the annual ‘Pfingstkurs’, thus giving us another opportunity to understand Buddha’s teachings in the best way and get or deepen the access to loving kindness. Jigme Rinpoche is presenting Buddha’s teachings in a way that is accessible for everybody and can as well be applied, step by step. It is Rinpoche’s special quality to reach out to the audience on a deep level because of the loving kindness he is radiating and at the same time he is transmitting the incredible deep meaning of the Dharma. The experiences of the modern, western world Rinpoche collected for decades combined with the intense training he received directly from His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa are the basis of this transmission. The warm-hearted way in which Rinpoche is making the teachings accessible is moving and inspiring. Deepening the understanding of the Dharma helps us to slowly change our habits towards more love and compassion and makes us wanting to do so. Each of Jigme Rinpoche’s teachings is supporting us in this aspiration.
In addition to the teachings Rinpoche will grant an empowerment to Chenrezi, the Buddha of Compassion on Sunday at 10am. For this the Buddhist refuge is required but can also be given before the empowerment.
Another event with Jigme Rinpoche: There will be a public talk about ‘Meditation’ on Wednesday evening, February 6 at 6.30pm in Strasbourg at Librairie Kléber, Salle Blanche, Place Kléber!
Lama Jigme Rinpoche received his education directly from H.H., the 16. Gyalwa Karmapa, with whom he spent his entire youth. For many years already, Rinpoche is guiding the Buddhist center Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in France, which is also the European main seat of Thaye Dorje, H.H., the 17. Karmapa, of whom Jigme Rinpoche is the General secretary. At the same time Jigme Rinpoche is guiding the Bodhi Path centers, particularly after Shamar Rinpoche passed away in 2014.
Teachings: Fr, 8pm, Sa, 10am and 3pm
Empowerment: Su, 10am
Fee for the entire course: € 95 (reduced: € 75)
For single units: € 25 (€ 20). The deduction is valid for supporting members of Bodhi Path Renchen-Ulm, unemployed, students and pensioners.
Language: English with German translation and additional French and Czech translations.
