This is the continuation of the first two courses about the above-mentioned subject, that had taken place in January and April. The wishing prayers of Samantabhadra are an important part of the Bodhi Path Curriculum, composed by Shamar Rinpoche. After we were introduced to the 7-branch prayer we received the first explanations about the main part of this essential text, that goes back to Buddha Shakyamuni. It includes many aspects of Buddhism and reciting it enables the accumulation of merit, a positive power in mind, as these wishing prayers are composed in a way that brings about the biggest possible benefit.
The course will be given online via ZOOM and registered persons will receive the access link in time.
A participation is also possible without having joined the first two courses.
Acharya Tenzing Wangpo had studied at the Diwakar Academy in Kalimpong (Indien) buddhist philosophy and literature until the degree of an Acharya (scholar). As such he has been teaching philosophy and logic at that academy himself as well as teaching in different buddhist centers in Europe and the USA. Beside this he is active for many of Shamar Rinpoche’s projects such as the construction of a girls’ school in Darjeeling. His way of teaching is warm-hearted kind and humorous and he is a very liked guest in the international Bodhi Path centers.
