Annual Main Course with Lama Jigme Rinpoche

It is with great pleasure that we announce the traditional Pentecost course with Lama Jigme Rinpoche!

Rinpoche, who has been familiar with the modern, western way of life for decades, gives extraordinary teachings that connect us with the profound Buddha Dharma. His warm and kind-hearted way of showing us the path of love and compassion is both touching and inspiring. A deeper and deeper understanding of the Dharma makes it easier for us to gradually steer our habits in a more positive direction, thereby creating the causes for good conditions and developing ourselves on the path to awakening. Each of Jigme Rinpoche’s teachings supports us in this.

In addition to Rinpoche’s teachings, there will be study sessions on the afternoons of Saturday and Sunday, as you can see from the schedule below. The study sessions will be given by students from Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, this time about ‘The History of Buddhism in Tibet’.

Lama Jigme Rinpoche received his education directly from His Holiness, the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, with whom he spent his entire youth. Rinpoche has been the director of the Dhagpo Kagyu Ling Buddhist Center in France for 50 years now, which is also the European headquarters of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa. Rinpoche is Karmapa’s General Secretary and representative in Europe and since Shamar Rinpoche’s passing he also heads the Bodhi Path organization in Europe.

Cost contribution for the entire course, personal participation: € 120 (reduced € 95, applies to supporting members, students, unemployed and retired persons)
Cost contribution for individual days, personal participation: FR € 25, SA and SO € 50 each, MO € 25. Single tickets are only available on site.
Cost contribution for the entire course, online participation: € 60 (reduced € 45) Please note: booking online tickets is only possible until Friday, 06.06., 5 pm.
