THE KING OF PRAYERS from SAMANTABHADRA
Acharya Tenzing Wangpo will continue his teachings for the Bodhi Path Centers although they will be held online this year, due to the pandemic.
He will teach about the wishing prayers of Samantabhadra. This important practise is a highly recommended part of the Bodhi Path Curriculum by Shamar Rinpoche and should be recited as often as possible. This beautiful text includes many aspects of Buddhism and enables the accumulation of positive imprints in the mind. Tenzing Wangpo will introduce this profound and inspiring text to us, in which the verses are composed in the most beneficial way possible. The corresponding text ‘The King of Prayers’ by Shamar Rinpoche is available in our online shop.
This course is organized together with Bodhi Path Fulda and Bodhi Path Hemer.
Acharya Tenzing Wangpo had been studying buddhist philosophy and literature at the Diwakar Academy in Kalimpong (India) and finished with the degree of an Acharya (scholar). As such he has been teaching buddhist monks in philosophy and logic and travels to Europe and America to transmit the Dharma. In addition to his teaching activity he is responsible for many of Shamar Rinpoche’s projects such as the construction of a school for girls in Darjeeling for example. His kind and joyful way of teaching is very inspiring and so the international Bodhi Path centers and their members are always happy to welcome him.
