Puja Days in Honor of Shamar Rinpoche – CHANGE
09/06 09:30 - 11/06 18:00
Our beloved teacher and founder of the Bodhi Path Organization, Künzig Shamar Rinpoche, the 14th Shamarpa, entered parinirvana here at his European seat on June 11 in 2014.
This year the setting for the three days of prayer ceremonies (Drubcho), which are provided in honor of Shamar Rinpoche, is different – due to the situation around covid19.
We are very sorry that therefore the pujas cannot take place here in the center this year. But fortunately Lama Yeshe Sangmo and other ordained Sangha members of the Dharma center Möhra will still do the required pujas in their center in Möhra. During these days, the practice of Gyalwa Gyamtso, the red Chenrezi, will be done. For those interested a virtual participation will be organized. The online access for this will be organized and communicated to those who wish to be present.
We are delighted that Lama Jigme Rinpoche agreed to give online explanations about the Drubcho right before the ceremonies will start: on Tuesday, June 9 at 9.30am 🙂
For those who will attend this online event, you could do the (normal) Chenrezi practice at that time, recite the mantra OM MANI PEME HUNG or simply train in calm abiding meditation.
Timing: Tuesday, 09.06., 09.30am, explanations from Lama Jigme Rinpoche and afterwards begin of the pujas until lunch time and again from 3pm to around 6 pm, incl. the Mahakala puja. The pujas will also be done in the mornings and in the afternoons of Wednesday and Thursday.
Here in the center there are only a few places for participants who want to join us watching it online (due to the demanded distance rules). As the number of participants is limited it is absolutely necessary to register in advance, please.
The participation is free – donations are most welcome, particularly for Shamar Rinpoche’s projects and the participating sangha in Möhra
