Sabchu Rinpoche – Retreat Course – CANCELLED!

Sabchu Rinpoche will provide a condensed presentation of the Lojong maxims and explanations and this will take place in a retreat format as shown below in the example for Saturday. According to Shamar Rinpoche’s guideline for the Bodhi Path Centers, the core of the curriculum is mind-training, which is presented in a very profound yet accessible way in Rinpoche’s books Path to Awakening and Boundless Wisdom. For the core of the lojong practice, the 7 points of mind-training specifically, Shamar Rinpoche commented the text A Concise Lojong Manual, by the 5th Shamar Rinpoche, Konchok Yenlak (1526-1583) in his book Bringing Mind Training to Life. Sabchu Rinpoche, Tibetan, is a high Buddhist teacher, born and raised in Nepal. He is overseeing the activities of the Karma Kagyu monastery in Swayambhu. In addition to the traditional Tibetan education and training, Rinpoche also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies in Canada. Dividing his time between personal retreat, overseeing his monastery, and teaching Dharma, Rinpoche also sets aside some time to write short teachings and narratives.
