The Bodhi Path Center was opened by Jigme Rinpoche in March 2006 as the headquarters of Shamar Rinpoche and the Bodhi Path Centers in Europe.
In his teachings, Shamar Rinpoche attaches particular importance to learning the Shine and Lhagtong meditations as well as the practice of Lojong, the 7-point mind training. At the same time, Rinpoche recommends studying the Mahamudra and Madyamika teachings.

Inspired by Rinpoche’s blessings, an intensive program takes place, to which the following teachers contribute besides himself: H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa, Beru Kyentse Rinpoche, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, Jigme Rinpoche, Trinlay Rinpoche and many more qualified teachers.

The Bodhi Path Center is very happy to have created a house together with its sponsors and supporters, where many people can directly encounter precious teachings and teachers.

Thanks to the many generous donations and support, the meditation hall and the accommodation and lounge areas have already been redesigned inside and out. This created a wonderful framework for the courses.
Due to its quiet location, the center is also ideal for times of withdrawal (retreats). The expansion of two single rooms for retreats is the next step.

Assistance

Of course, such a large house, which is available to all Dharma practitioners, also represents a constant burden of costs. In addition to financing Lama visits, there are monthly expenses for organization, loan installments, heating, water, electricity, insurance, telephone, maintenance, etc. to a considerable extent. The residents’ rent and the course fees finance part of these expenses, but cannot cover the running costs. This requires the generosity of people who wish to support Shamar Rinpoche’s Dharma activity. Every donation actively contributes to supporting Rinpoche’s work in Europe.
