Lama Jigme Rinpoche – Annual Main Course in combination with an additional program about Shamar Rinpoche

It is with great joy that we announce the annual main course with Lama Jigme Rinpoche!
Rinpoche’s exceptional teachings connect us with the profound Buddha Dharma and because of Rinpoche’s longtime experience of the modern life style in the West he knows how to facilitate the approach for us. His warm-hearted way to grant access to the teachings is touching and inspiring at the same time. Developing a deeper understanding helps us to slowly change our habits in the direction of more love and compassion. Each of Jigme Rinpoche’s teachings supports us in this process.
In addition to Rinpoche’s teachings, there will be a streaming program on the afternoons from Saturday to Monday in honor and in memory of Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche and the history of the Shamarpas. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, starting at 3pm, Trehor Lama will take us on a journey through the life, prophecies and historical significance of the red crown holder in Tibetan Buddhism, particularly in the Karma Kagyu lineage. On Monday afternoon, from 2.30pm, join Lara Braitstein for a presentation on the process and experience of working closely with Shamar Rinpoche on The Path to Awakening, together with a brief overview of the structure and content of the text.
Lama Jigme Rinpoche received his education directly from His Holiness, the 16. Gyalwa Karmapa, with whom he spent his entire youth. For decades already, Rinpoche is guiding the Buddhist center Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in France, which is also the European main seat of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness, the 17. Gyalwa Karmapa, of whom Jigme Rinpoche is the General secretary and his representative in Europe. Since Shamar Rinpoche’s passing Jigme Rinpoche is also guiding the Bodhi Path Organisation in Europe.
