We are looking forward to the first visit of Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche, who will introduce us to the four fundamental thoughts. These are the following reflections that turn the mind towards the Dharma: 1. contemplation of the precious human life, 2. contemplation of impermanence, especially the finite nature of our lives, 3. contemplation of the laws of karma, or cause and effect, and 4. contemplation of the disadvantages of samsara. Contemplating these thoughts helps us to recognize how we can use this precious present life in the best possible way to become free(er) from suffering and to develop ourselves in the sense of the Dharma.

Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche is considered a great Mahasiddha whose fame spread beyond the borders of Western Tibet and Nepal. His 3rd incarnation was recognized by H.H. the 15th Gyalwa Karmapa Khakhyab Dorje when he was 5 years old. The present Tseyang Rinpoche is the 4th incarnation. He was recognized by the late 14th Shamar Rinpoche. The formal enthronement ceremony of Tseyang Rinpoche took place during the Kagyu Monlam in Bodh Gaya in December 1996 in the presence of Thaye Dorje, H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa and H.H. Shamar Rinpoche. Tseyang Rinpoche has completed all his Buddhist studies and received his certification from the Vikramashila Buddhist Institute. He completed a traditional three-year retreat in Pharping, Nepal, and has since been teaching Buddhism around the world. He is also the director of the Buddhist center Karma Parchin Ling in Malaysia and founder of the Paramita Foundation in Nepal.
