Acharya Tenzing Wangpo continues the study series about one of the most important Buddhist texts, ‘The Jewel Ornament of Liberation’, composed by the highly realized Buddhist master Gampopa. During the last course Tenzing Wangpo taught about the training in Bodhicitta of application, the training in the paramitas. This time will be about the fifth paramita of ‘meditative stability’, chapter 16. Gampopa explains precisely what to be aware of when training in such qualities.
For attending this course it is helpful to already being familiar with the previous chapters of the book, but this is not a necessary requirement. Everybody is welcome to join.
In any case the teachings of Tenzing Wangpo are very inspiring, not only because of his vast knowledge but also because he is teaching directly from his heart and is thus a wonderful example of a Bodhisattva’s attitude.
The course will be held online and those who have registered will receive the access link in time before the course.
Acharya Tenzing Wangpo had studied at the Diwakar Academy in Kalimpong (India) Buddhist philosophy and literature and concluded with the degree of an Acharya (Junior scholar). As such he has been teaching at the academy himself as well as in Buddhist centers in Europe and the USA.
